I have served, both full-time and part-time, in vocational ministry since 1998. In that time, I am privileged to have lead many teams of volunteers, coordinated ministry to many types of people, and served with incredible staff teams. My greatest joy has been to see people experience, many for the first time, the freedom of a daily relationship with Christ. I have witnessed the Gospel transform lives, restore relationships, rebuild marriages and ultimately testify to God’s mercy, grace and faithfulness. I firmly believe in the necessity of Biblical community and believe that to be the best environment for people to learn the Scriptures and their application for life. I also feel strongly about an elder-led model of church polity and feel that I serve best under that style of leadership.

Although, my experience and education have had many Southern Baptist influences, I identify most closely with the Doctrines of Grace. I believe in a plurality of elders in leadership and a church membership that is empowered, enabled and encouraged to do the ministry work. My strengths are in discipleship and missions with an emphasis on leadership development.

Currently, I serve as the Lead Pastor and planter of The Church at Buffalo Creek in Rockwall, TX.
