A Request for Prayer
On Thursday, June 13th, Stan will head out for his first NEXT campaign of the 2013 season. A team of 26 students and adults from Houston’s First Baptist and First Baptist Church, Malakoff, TX will work together in San Isidro, Costa Rica. San Isidro is a city of about 125,000 people. The team will be partnering with 4 pastors in different villages to help plant new churches in each village. These pastors have a vision to plant 12 new churches over the next 5 years. This trip will lay the ground work for these new churches. It will be an exciting time!
Pray for our team – 26 students and adults from Houston’s FBC and FBC Malakoff.
Pray for the pastors and their villages – God is beginning new work in each village. Pray that the Gospel will be shared powerfully and that the team will see new believers in each village.
Pray for our family while Stan is away. Spiritual warfare is very real. It seems that on every trip, something comes up. Pray for protection and provision.
Thank you for supporting our ministry through prayer. We can’t wait to share what God is doing in Costa Rica and what He will do through this team as they serve.
